Welcome
I am both delighted and honoured to be the Headteacher of a school where children are at the heart of every decision, and where each individual is valued and celebrated. On behalf of the staff, governors and pupils of John Perryn Primary School, I would like to extend a warm welcome to our website and thank you for taking an interest in our wonderful and vibrant school community.
Our ethos, ‘The John Perryn Way’, encapsulates the values and motto of ‘Aiming High to Achieve Success in All That We Do’. These values lie at the core of everything we do and contribute to our shared goal of ensuring that our children progress to the next stage of their journey as respectful, kind, responsible and caring members of society.
As a community, we share the responsibility of ensuring that every child is safe and happy. We understand the importance of strong communication and partnerships between home and school, and we want John Perryn to be at the heart of the local community, with everyone working together effectively to achieve this.
‘It takes a village to raise a child.’ (Ancient African proverb)
We are fortunate to have a fantastic school building, extensive grounds and superb facilities, including many newly developed outdoor areas for the children to enjoy. If you are considering sending your child to our school, please do get in touch with the school office so we can arrange a visit. Should you choose our school for your child, I promise that we will work together to ensure they receive exceptional care and the opportunity to become the very best version of themselves.
I am excited to lead the school into the next chapter of its journey, where we will continue to have the highest aspirations for every child. The school has undergone many changes in recent years, and now is the time for stability. My vision for John Perryn’s future is that of a happy, effective and collaborative school, where everyone looks forward to attending each day, and where all feel welcome and valued.
I look forward to meeting and working with each and every one of you.
Ms. Leah Wright
